PAY RATE: $65.76/HR

Project Overview:

The Network infrastructure engineering groups mission is to assure high quality end-to-end physical infrastructure throughout the life of our production network facilities.

We're looking for new TPMs and network infrastructure engineers.

We are currently engaged in Project Supergate to provide a 20x boost to our datacenter networking capacity and need resources who can help us to plan, cost, upgrade, design, and create new and enhanced data center networks. The ideal candidate will possess the following skillsets: Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) Engineering, Network Engineering, Optical and Transport Engineering, Large-Scale Project Management and Financial/Cost Analysis.

Overall Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with planning, contracting, construction, and documentation efforts in support of the at -Googles large Data Center campuses. This includes maintaining deployment schedules, monitoring production, ensuring adherence to specifications and completion of other deliverables.

* Evaluate alternatives and develop cost estimates for project-specific feasibility studies.

* Create SOWs and design documents for network infrastructure and optical cabling for both ISP and OSP.

* Prepare drawings, maps, scopes of work and other materials, as needed, to clearly describe projects to external vendors and internal stakeholders.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

* Interact with site project management and contractors for fiber construction

* Maintain project schedules.

* Prepare drawings, scopes of work and bill of materials

Required Skills:

* BS degree or equivalent practical experience.

* 5 years of experience in fiber networking infrastructure projects and constructing new outside plant -and inside plant fiber infrastructure.

* Experience designing and facilitating implementation of networking data-center and/or colocation facilities.

* Experience with optical, IP, and other networking technologies desired

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:

* List of extra skills that would be nice to have but are not required to be successful in the position

* RCDD certification

* PMP certification
