Iron Bow Technologies Cloud and Managed Services Team is looking for an experienced Lead Solutions Architect to drive the technical vision and direction for this rapidly growing line of business. Responsibilities will include defining / launching new product/services while improving existing ones. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, which means you'll be given ownership and autonomy.


* Partner and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Operation, leading the service design process to formalize service offerings

* Develop and oversee the technical strategy supporting the Iron Bow's LoB service portfolio

* Oversees architectural design aspects of service lifecycle including requirements gathering and documenting of service architecture

* Lead the vetting and selection of vendors based upon technical and business factors

* Identifies and recommends areas appropriate for further study and participates in any Proof of Concept

* Assists with development of service transition and service operations plans for all service offerings

* Oversees selection and implementation of analytics and service reporting platforms to support the service catalog

* Share best practices, lessons learned and constantly update the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, systems performance, and knowledge related to recent, current and upcoming vendor products and solutions

* Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations on Iron Bow service catalog and competitor technologies for internal stakeholders and prospective customers as required

* Assist with the development of strategic proposals using standard Iron Bow templates

* Additional duties as assigned


* BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent years of experience.

* 10-15+ years-related experience

* Demonstrated ability to gather, document and analyze infrastructure requirements

* Excellent working knowledge of most infrastructure components: Software Design / Development, Systems Operations / Management, Systems Administration, Database Architecture, Video Communications, Virtualization, IP Networking, IT Security

* Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability

* Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills

* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team

* Comfortable with complex but unstructured problems, a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, self-motivated, and organized.

* Strong familiarity with Public Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM, others.


* MBA or advanced Engineering degree

* Applicable Industry certification; PMP, ITIL, VMware DCA-DCV, Cisco CCNP/CCNA, CISSP/ISSAP, IaaS Cloud Certification AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.

* Practical application development experience on Linux and Windows-based systems

* Familiarity with DevOps and Agile development methodology and impact on IT Service Delivery

* Hands on experience with Source Control (e.g., Git, SVN), Continuous Integration (e.g., Jenkins), Automation & Orchestration (e.g., Chef, Puppet) tools.


* 10% or less travel required for this position.
