Our non-profit client is focused on educating consumers on how to safely use, store, and dispose of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and dietary supplements. Through public and private partnerships, national education campaigns, and media efforts, our client’s mission is to be the trusted source of information for the responsible use of consumer healthcare products.

This is your chance to manage our client’s consumer-facing KnowYourOTCs.org brand and lead digital educational campaigns by advancing an integrated digital strategy with a focus on social media, website, and digital campaign management.

The Opportunity

Using the KnowYourOTCs.org brand, the Digital Content & Campaign Manager will develop digital strategies to ensure positive engagement from consumers through our social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube. This includes managing social media calendars, coordinating with PR agencies on designing, developing and implementing organic and paid social media content online content and staying at the forefront of online trends and results.

The Digital Content & Campaign Manager will also be a prominent force in developing website content and improving all optimization, offering recommendations and best practices for a professional, engaging and highly-functioning website. We want our virtual guests to engage with our website, process the information with clarity, and return to the website often as a credible resource for information on over-the-counter medications. This will involve analyzing our website via Google Analytics as well as tracking online results and trends and implementing changes that will lead to developing a strong user-friendly experience.

You will also lead the day-to-day management of several consumer and healthcare provider-focused digital educational campaigns. You will effectively communicate and partner with internal and external stakeholder groups to gain alignment/consensus on each phase of campaign development and launch.


To succeed in this role, we need someone with the following background:

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

· A minimum of five years of experience in Digital Marketing either within a PR/communications agency or non-profit organization.

· Familiarity with communications and/or public health campaigns with consumer, healthcare, and/or physician audiences.

· Experience creating, writing, and managing social media content and campaigns, ideally for a foundation or non-profit organization.

· Proven, hands-on experience with professional social media strategy/posting (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and engagement metrics and web analytics tools (Google Analytics).
