Alexandria non-profit is searching for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, events professional with a strong sense of initiative and excellent writing and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be successful in a fast-paced, energetic environment with a positive attitude and impeccable time-management skills. In addition, candidates should have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks and executing them quickly, efficiently, and meticulously.

The Events Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are: to support our signature event series.

The duties include but are not limited to:
• Provide meeting planning/logistical support to the suite of events
• Coordinate registration database
• Serve as front line support for phone calls and emails from attendees
• Submit grant applications
• Solicit in-kind product donations
• Fulfillment of incentive program
• Manage event volunteer recruitment and communications
• Update website content (HTML not necessary)
• Perform general administrative support

• Minimum – 2 years non-profit experience
• Four-year college degree
• Ability to travel
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
• Must have excellent communications skills especially by phone and email

Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with peer-to-peer fundraising events
• Experience utilizing Blackbaud products including Luminate, TeamRaiser, and Raiser’s Edge
